Graffiti Cleaning in Progress
Having been in the industry for over 35 years we have been called upon to solve some interesting challenges. Our team love the challenge of setting a site up safely and getting the graffiti OFF quickly.
The Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Victoria had a radio tower hit with graffiti from top to bottom – 16 meters high. The graffiti was black enamel spray paint with thick run marks placed on a concrete pole with galvanised brackets and fittings. The tower was located above a colourbond fire station so care had to be exercised not to damage the colourbond surface during the cleaning process. A large all terrain tower lift had to be used to navigate the site inclines and avoid power lines.
Safe Site Setup
Our team set up the site from start to finish, conducting height risk assessments, organising permits, selection and hire of access equipment, licensed operators on site, radiation risk monitoring, and protecting surrounding structures during the cleaning process.
The result was a perfectly clean concrete tower with no shadows or chemical marks, no surrounding structure damage and no onsite accidents.
